How many Kannonball/Falls have you done?

This will be my third Rally!

What made you want to sign up for Kannonball?

My friend JJ originally introduced me to the Rally idea and it sounded really fun. I didn't get a chance to make it that first year and was at work all day. I work at a car dealership that was right along the route for one of the check points and heard/saw a ton of sweet cars flying down 35W and ran outside and it looked like an absolute blast. A Kannonballer with a Tesla stopped by to charge his vehicle and I chatted with him about the rally and after that point I vowed I wouldn't miss out on something that fun.

You only have $5000, what car do you buy and why?

My '94 Miata cost $5000 and I love it. But if I had to choose a different vehicle it would probably be '99-'04 Mustang because that was the first sports car I owned and that's what got me into cars to begin with.

You have $50,000 what car do you buy and why?

My Corvette :) So I have both these questions covered! Again, if I had to choose something else, it would probably be a Porsche Cayman 981. I want something a little bit more exotic and this would be a fun car to buy.

What is your favorite thing about your car?

I like how refined it is and how capable it is. The car can do so much more beyond my abilities. I also really like how it can feel like a total race car but with just a few quick adjustments it can ride as smooth as any daily driver. It gives me the best of both worlds.

What does dream road trip look like?

I bought my Miata out in Sacramento and drove the car back home (to MN) and that was by far the best road trip I've had. However, that car absolutely sucked for long trips. So my dream road trip would be that same drive but with my Corvette and a little more time to be able to enjoy the drive.

Tell us your favorite memory from previous Kannonballs/falls?

The whole experience was just incredible last time. It was so much more than I was expecting. All the Checkpoints were set up so well and were a lot of fun.
