KannonBALLER Spotlight: #6 WB Racing 2.0

This is the first installment in our regular-ish series spotlighting KannonBALL teams (Kannonballers) and their unique experiences around their cars and rallying. We think these are the greatest people around and are excited to show them off.

This first team is a KB-OG (a team who has participated in every single KannonBALL). WB Racing 2.0 is driven by Teddy White who was also part of the 2016 Golden Kannonball Championship Team!

All of them.

What made you want to sign up for Kannonball?

I was watching the movie Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds for the umpteenth time and thinking people have got to be doing this kind of thing somewhere, maybe even around here, so I googled it. That was about 3 months before the very first Kannonball Fun Charity Rally, the rest is history.

2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - Red/Black

What is your most embarrassing car story?

I got my drivers license when I was 16 during winter break. I took the test and an hour later we had a blizzard and my Mom didn't let me go out and drive for two days. She finally let me drive to ski practice on the third day, and I proceeded to put her van into the ditch going about 60 mph on county road 81 in Maple Grove. Several of my friends on the team saw me in the ditch and told my coach at practice, he called triple A and had me towed out. No damage to the van, so I drove home highly concerned my mother would never let me drive again. When I got home I fessed up and told her what had happened and she just laughed at me and said that'll teach ya. So I guess that goes down as a win. I have been doing questionable things in vehicles ever since.

Tell us the story of your car, what made you want to buy this one?

I was in the market for a new sports car, did a fair amount of research, read every article and comparison that I could find and came to the conclusion that the C7 Z06 is the best bang for your buck that you could buy. And I think it looks cool. So there.

What is your first car related memory?

My family always took road trips in the summer to go camping for a couple weeks, somewhere different every year. My favorite trip was out to Vancouver Island on the Pacific Ocean, we drove through the Canadian Rockies to get there. The scenery was beautiful and the roads were epic.

What is your dream road trip car?

At the moment, I'm infatuated with the Ferrari F12 TDF.
