Another installment in our regular-ish series highlighting our KannonBALLERS. Today, we learn a little more about Team Puzzles, driven by Colin 'Coco Bean' Johnson and navigated by Rhett 'Ratty Rat' Williams

How many Kannonball/Falls have you done?

OG!! Puzzles has done every Kannonball related event there is. Kannonball 1/2/3/4, Kannonfall 1/2, and came up with the idea for Cactusball

What made you want to sign up for Kannonball?

Our first rally experience was seeing the Goldrush Rally in Chicago. The next summer Kannonball was started. The rest is history.

What car (make/model/year/color) are you driving on Kannonball this year?

2010 Mazdaspeed 3 “The Beast” in Black Mica with a healthy sprinkling of puzzle pieces

What is your most embarrassing car story?

How can you pick just one?! It’s a tie between practicing for Polar Run and ending up backwards in a ditch, or totaling Puzzles Mobile 1.0 a week after the rally.

Tell us the story of your car, what made you want to buy this one?

See previous answer Puzzles 1.0 (pictured below) was murdered by rear ending a Jeep and getting annihilated at a red light. And thus, Puzzles 2.0 came to be, along with a new rallyer (Nick & Deanna Mosser).

What is your first car related memory?

My first memory related to cars is shifting my dad’s old 5-speed 4Runner when I was no older than 5 years old. My first memory that got me into the #FastCarsMatter mentality was in my dad’s BMW 525i when he got us up to 120+mph on the way to the cabin. I was hooked on speed ever since.

What is your dream road trip car?

What is one thing you have in your car at all times and why?

GoPro, towels, pen, flashlight, paper maps, bail money
